Happy Easter

Christ is risen!  He is risen indeed!  Alleluia!

Dear Holy Family Church Parishioners and Friends,

Happy Easter!  Alleluia!  As I type these words, I am thinking, “Where did Lent go?”  It seems like Lent went by so fast (maybe too fast).  I hope you persevered through your prayer, fasting, and almsgiving and now can enjoy the beauty and glory of Easter!  This Easter we offer our profound gratitude to God for the gift of so great a Savior, who suffered, died, and rose from the dead so we could be set free of sin and death!  This should leave all of us saying, “Alleluia!”

I want to take this opportunity to thank all who helped to make our Lent/Holy Week/Easter celebrations so special.  The people are too numerous to name but know of my sincere gratitude for all the hard work that goes into this time of year!  Holy Family is blessed with caring people who desire to make the experience of faith a graced time for all of us here and those beyond our parish!  I have been raising up prayers of God to gratitude for all who give of themselves for the sake of our salvation.  I (we) could not do it without you!

I want to thank all of you - the parishioners and friends of Holy Family Church.  Thank you for the many sacrifices you make on behalf of our parish each day.  Due to your ongoing goodness, Holy Family continues to be that place where people can come and encounter Christ because you make HIM present through your faith, charity, and devotion.  You truly make Holy Family Church a loving family!

As we celebrate our Lord’s resurrection, I am praying for you and your loved ones.  I pray that this Easter season may be filled with God’s choicest blessings for all of our families.  Please join me in praying for all of our beloved departed.  Let’s pray asking God to grant them the peace, joy, and glory of heaven where we will see them again and enjoy their presence for all eternity!
