Baptisms at Holy Family Church

“Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, ‘Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’” (Mark 19:13-14)

Baptism is a special time in a family’s life as it is the beginning of a child’s faith journey.  Family and friends gather to support the child, parents, and godparents in building this faith.  We would be honored to help arrange welcoming your child into our Catholic family.

Steps/Requirements:

  • Please complete all sections of the online registration form at least one month in advance

  • At least one parent is Catholic

  • At least one Godparent is Catholic and has been confirmed

  • Godparents are at least 16 years of age

  • Child is less than 8 years of age (children 8 and up will go through the Faith Formation program)

Details

Baptisms are scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 12:00, with up to three children receiving the sacrament at a time.  Please contact the office if a private baptism or a specific deacon or priest is being requested.
